Canine

Canine Physical Therapy treats movement dysfunction and rehabilitation, promoting healing of tissues, increased strength and faster functional recovery. Canine physical therapy has been an established practice of care in European countries for over 20 years. Due to growing awareness of improved recovery in a shorter amount of time, animal physical therapy has growing recognition in the U.S.

Horse 'n Hound PT’s (HnHPT) clinic offers state of the art hydro therapy using an Aqua-Paws underwater treadmill for strengthening, flexibility and range of motion restoration. We also have a pool for use in-season with an easy-in ramp. The clinic contains two gym spaces for gaittraining, strengthening and balance exercises utilizing a variety of equipment  to help dogs and cats get back to coordinated functional movement. Therapeutic modalities of a class 3b and level 4 cold laser and therapeutic ultrasound, heat and cold, manual approaches and massage are applied to reduce pain, inflammation and promote faster tissue healing.
